The ceremony meticulously commemorated film personalities who passed away in the previous year, with Dharmendra’s inclusion resonating deeply with audiences both in India and worldwide. He shared the screen with his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, in films such as “Apne” and the “Yamla Pagla Deewana” series. His final on-screen appearance was in the film “Ikkis,” released in January 2025. Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, after a prolonged illness. His cremation took place in Mumbai, where he was surrounded by family and loved ones.
