The producer Ramesh Taurani has clarified that Aamir Khan’s alleged casting in Race 4 is unfounded. This statement comes in response to rumours that the acclaimed actor had reviewed the script and agreed to take on a leading role in the upcoming project. Taurani emphasised that as of now, no decisions regarding the cast have been made.

In a recent Instagram post, Taurani urged the public and media to refrain from sharing or believing unverified claims about the film’s casting. He stressed that the details around the cast remain unconfirmed and any updates will be shared officially by the production team once finalised.

Specifically, he stated, “We would like to clarify that the cast of Race 4 has not yet been finalized. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to refrain from speculation and from engaging with or circulating any unverified or false news regarding the cast.”

Previous Rumours Surrounding Casting Choices

This is not the first instance of speculation relating to Race 4 casting. Earlier in January, reports suggested that Akshaye Khanna might reprise his role from the first film, despite his character’s demise. However, Taurani denied these claims at the time, insisting that Khanna has not been approached over the potential return to the franchise.

During an interview, Taurani stated, “No, we have not approached Akshaye. There was no scope at all.” When pressed further about the possibility of altering the story to accommodate Khanna’s character, he firmly dismissed the idea, mentioning that the character’s storyline concluded following a significant accident in the initial instalment.

The finality of Khanna’s character was emphasised in Taurani’s remarks, affirming that there are no plans to bring him back for this sequel.

Beyond Khan and Khanna, other prominent actors such as Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff have been linked with Race 4. Reports have indicated that these actors have also been involved in script narration discussions. However, the producers have yet to verify any engagements with these talents.
