Anshula Kapoor, sister of actor Arjun Kapoor and a recognised social media influencer, married her long-time boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in Mumbai on Monday. The marriage took place at Taj Lands End, where the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that adhered to traditional Hindu customs and rituals.

Anshula, aged 35, chose a lovely pink lehenga, while Rohan complemented her attire with a classic ivory sherwani. In an effort to maintain the privacy of the occasion, Arjun Kapoor reportedly requested that none of the media or paparazzi crowd the venue, emphasising that this event was primarily a family affair. Following the wedding, a reception is scheduled for the next day, which will welcome industry colleagues and friends.

During the engagement announcement, Anshula reflected on how their relationship began, stating, “We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours.” This significant time held meaning as it was when Rohan proposed three years later in Central Park, New York.

Anshula remarked that the proposal occurred precisely at 1.15 am IST, mirroring their initial conversation time, which she described as feeling “like magic.” Their journey together began through a dating app in 2022, making the proposal an extension of their thriving relationship.
