Additional Sessions Judge Sheetal Pradhan Chaudhary approved the bail, allowing Siddique to be released upon providing a personal bond and a surety bond amounting to Rs 100,000. The court has set conditions that require Siddique to remain within the Delhi-NCR region without prior permission and has mandated that he surrender his passport to the investigating officer overseeing the case.

Siddique has been formally charged in a money laundering case associated with the Al Falah Trust. His legal counsel, Advocate Arshdeep Singh Khurana, argued that the investigation is complete, and a prosecution complaint was submitted to the court on January 16. He requested an extension of Siddique’s interim bail to four weeks, emphasizing the necessity of Siddique’s presence for his wife during her treatments.

The defense raised concerns regarding Siddique’s family situation, noting that he is the primary caregiver for his wife. The advocate pointed out that Siddique has lost both parents and that his wife’s elderly mother, aged 75, is her only surviving immediate family member.
