Haribabu, aged 26, was embroiled in a murder case involving his wife, who had garnered a following of 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. The tragic discovery of Vaishnavi’s body was made by her parents, who found her in a pool of blood in her room, suffering from multiple stab wounds across her extremities and head. At that time, Haribabu was missing, raising suspicions and prompting law enforcement to take action.

Following a complaint lodged by Vaishnavi’s family, the police initiated a case against Haribabu, alleging that their daughter was subjected to harassment related to dowry demands. After a period of evasion, he was apprehended and subsequently released on bail just prior to his murder. Reports suggest that he had recently resigned from his position as a receptionist in a local government office, and had frequently appeared in his wife’s vlogs documenting their daily lives.

In the aftermath of the attack, authorities from Nizamabad police arrived promptly at the scene to collect evidence and have transferred Haribabu’s body to the Government General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
