Aamir Khan Presents Unique Aquamarine Ring to Gauri Spratt Prior to QWEEN Launch

With its official launch planned for May, QWEEN has already secured its first customer, renowned actor Aamir Khan. The film personality has commissioned two custom rings for his partner, Gauri Spratt, crafted by QWEEN, which is touted as India’s first self-discovery luxury jewellery brand, emphasising natural materials and experiential design.

Aamir Khan has also joined as a strategic investor in QWEEN, marking his commitment to the brand with a personal gesture. Unlike typical celebrity endorsements, this purchase reflects Khan’s genuine confidence in QWEEN and its offerings, underscoring a deeper connection beyond mere investment.

Notable Features of the Rings

Recently, Gauri Spratt was seen wearing an eye-catching aquamarine ring, known for its ocean-blue hue and unique design. This ring was officially commissioned by Khan as part of a dual ring presentation. Aamir Khan’s decision to create two distinct rings symbolises the complexity of love, suggesting that multiple aspects often coexist in relationships.

The aquamarine ring features a rare blue gemstone, recognized for its unparalleled quality and scarcity. Aquamarines of such size and clarity account for less than 0.3% of global discoveries. This particular stone was sourced from Brazil and is set in gold, surrounded by a halo of 40 natural diamonds. The creation of the ring involved over 363 hours of expert craftsmanship at QWEEN’s facility in Mumbai, with contributions from 131 skilled artisans.

Ruby Ring Craftsmanship

The second ring showcases a natural ruby sourced from Madagascar, a region known for its premium rubies characterized by deep color and vivid intensity. Only about 0.1% of rubies meet this high standard. The ruby is set in a prong design and required more than 812 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. Together, the aquamarine and ruby represent a dynamic interplay, with the ruby symbolizing passion and devotion, while the aquamarine embodies emotional clarity, reflecting the harmonious duality often present in relationships.
