The Infinix Hot 70 Pro has been officially launched in India, targeting consumers in the budget segment of the smartphone market. This new model features a striking design and innovative technology, particularly appealing to users who value aesthetics in their devices. The phone’s unique features include an Active Matrix Cube on the back, which adds an interactive component to the user experience.

Design Features of Infinix Hot 70 Pro

The standout aspect of the Infinix Hot 70 Pro is its bold design, featuring three distinct square cutouts on the rear. Two of these are allocated for the camera setup, while the third houses the Active Matrix Cube. This cube is comparable to the matrix displays seen in previous models, such as the Infinix Note 60 Pro. Users can take advantage of this functionality for checking notifications and calls, as well as engaging with music sync and a range of mini-games.

In terms of aesthetics, the back of the device is made from plastic and displays colour variations based on the selected shade. The Thermo Orange version, for instance, changes hue according to temperature, while the Mirage Green variant is designed to glow in darkness. Other available colour options include Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse, and Dive Blue. The device sports a flat plastic frame and includes a customisable one-tap button along with a power button that also serves as a fingerprint sensor. With a thickness of 7.85 mm and a weight of 204 grams, the phone accommodates an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Display and Camera Specifications

On the front, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro features a 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS display equipped with a punch-hole design for the front camera. This display supports a refresh rate of 144Hz, optimising the experience for gaming and entertainment, while also offering a maximum brightness of 950 nits. Such specifications are designed to enhance user engagement and visibility in various lighting conditions.

The photographic capabilities of this device are highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main rear camera, allowing users to capture high-quality images with the capability of recording video in 2K at 30 frames per second. For selfie enthusiasts, the front is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, catering to those who enjoy capturing moments digitally.

Performance and Pricing Details

Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro is powered by a 6nm-based MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, which allows for smooth performance and supports frame rates of up to 90fps in compatible games. The device features UFS 2.2 storage technology and operates on Android 16, customised with XOS 16.
