Lollapalooza India has unveiled its line-up for the fifth edition, confirming that Olivia Dean and Limp Bizkit will headline the event. This two-day music festival is scheduled to occur on January 23 and 24, 2027, at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. With a blend of international and Indian talent, the festival aims to cater to a diverse audience through various musical genres.

International Performers and Debuts

The festival will showcase an impressive array of international artists, including global girl group KATSEYE, who will also be making their debut in India. The line-up features acts such as the Irish post-punk band Fontaines DC, Australian pop-rock group 5 Seconds of Summer, six-time Grammy Award winner St Vincent, and Steve Angello from Swedish House Mafia. Olivia Dean, noted for her soulful pop vocals and her recent accolade as Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, is expected to perform tracks like “Messy”, “Dive”, and “Man I Need”.

Limp Bizkit, known for their nu-metal sound and hits such as “Break Stuff” and “Nookie”, will also mark their first performance in India, bringing nearly thirty years of musical experience to the festival. Similarly, KATSEYE, recognized for their global hits “Gnarly” and “Touch”, is anticipated to deliver lively performances featuring intricate choreography and polished production.

Joining these acts, Fontaines DC will present their alternative and post-punk style, while 5 Seconds of Summer will offer a nostalgic touch with their pop-rock sound. St Vincent’s contributions will further enhance the festival’s diverse offerings, with performances spanning rock and electronic music genres.

Indian Artists and Special Collaborations

Additionally, the festival will showcase Belgian DJ duo 2manydjs and Japanese artist U$UK€ UK1MAT$U, known for their electronic and experimental soundscapes. Other international artists such as Rachel Chinouriri and Ecca Vandal will also be part of the extensive line-up.

The extended line-up will include bands like Pinkshift, Isyana Sarasvati, and Indian acts including Curtain Blue, Dohnraj, and The Peculiars. This blend of local and international talent seeks to provide attendees with a comprehensive musical experience, covering a wide array of genres.

Festival Features and Ticket Sales

Lollapalooza India 2027 will feature four stages, showcasing genres such as nu-metal, post-punk, electronic, hip-hop, jazz, R&B, folk, and rock. In addition to live performances, the festival will host various immersive installations and the Lolla Food Park, creating a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. The organisers have also launched the #LollaForChange initiative to promote social awareness during the event.

General ticket sales have commenced, and the organisers reported that Bird tickets sold out rapidly, indicating a strong interest in the upcoming festival. The event is organised by BookMyShow Live, ensuring a well-coordinated experience for visitors.
