Local reports reveal that the tension arose when a minor girl allegedly came into contact with the accused youth under the guise of attending coaching classes. The girl’s family later accused the youth of inappropriate behaviour and harassment. Following the emergence of these allegations, tensions escalated between the families, which are reportedly related.

According to sources, the situation intensified when a group of social activists and women approached the accused family’s residence to address the issue and seek resolution. During discussions, the father of the accused allegedly suggested that monetary compensation could resolve the matter, an assertion that sparked anger among those present.

The atmosphere turned hostile as further allegations surfaced, suggesting that the accused youth’s father behaved inappropriately towards the women, which contributed to the growing animosity between the two parties. The tension culminated in a physical altercation, as the women reportedly began to attack him in response.

Police Response and Ongoing Investigation

Footage of the incident captures the women pursuing the man and repeatedly hitting him while he attempts to evade them. The police presence at the scene was significant, as an officer intervened to separate the parties and mitigate the situation. Social activist Shweta Parashar has called for a thorough and unbiased investigation into the allegations concerning the minor girl, insisting on strict actions against any individuals found guilty of wrongdoing. Parashar noted that the girl had allegedly interacted with the accused youth approximately one week prior, during which it is claimed that inappropriate behaviour occurred.

Authorities confirmed that a formal complaint has been lodged at Kotwali police station, wherein the youth faces allegations of harassment, indecent conduct, and intimidation towards the minor. Police officials state that they are actively investigating both the accusations made by the minor girl and the physical altercation captured in the viral footage. They have assured that appropriate actions will be taken based on the outcomes of the investigation.
