Navinder Singh, a tourist from Punjab, described his visit positively, stating he and his family were enjoying their time exploring nearby attractions. He praised the area and its residents, advocating for others to consider visiting. “I came here for a visit with my family, and have visited the places nearby. The places are really good. I would recommend to all to come here and meet people here, as they are really sweet and caring,” Singh remarked.

Singh elaborated on his experience at Dal Lake, highlighting the mesmerising views and the joy of riding a Shikara. “The view is very good and mesmerising,” he shared, demonstrating the impact of the landscape on visitors.

Another tourist, Melvin from Malaysia, shared his impressions during his first visit to Kashmir. He expressed his enjoyment of the local hospitality, expressing admiration for the friendly nature of the people. “This is my first time in Kashmir. I love this place; I love India. It’s a very nice place,” Melvin stated, showcasing his appreciation for the region.

During his stay, Melvin opted for a houseboat experience, which he found to be delightful. “Yesterday I stayed one night in this houseboat. It’s very nice. The decoration, everything is very nice. And Kashmir people are very friendly. The people, I need help, they help me. Okay, thank you,” he expressed, indicating the welcoming atmosphere he encountered.
