The film is set to debut on December 24, 2026, coinciding with other high-profile releases, including ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Dune: Part Three’.

Khan expressed confidence about the film’s unique position amidst this competitive landscape, noting that he is not worried about the potential clash. The actor emphasised that ‘King’ is nearing completion and remains on track for its scheduled release. This session followed Khan’s celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi, where he engaged with fans in a light-hearted manner.

Throughout the conversation, he also discussed the challenges faced during shooting and his eagerness for the audience to witness the film in its entirety. In a humorous exchange, he responded to a fan’s query about the film being overshadowed by other releases by stating, “Not at all…we are the tasty tikki from the centre,” effectively reassuring audiences about King’s significance.

Challenges Faced During Production

During discussions about the production challenges of ‘King’, Khan revealed that injuries sustained by himself had caused interruptions, leading to a stop-start filming process. However, he reassured fans that all is well now, indicating progress in the production. Khan shared his optimism as the film is now 100 days away from its release.

When asked what he looks forward to sharing with audiences, Khan noted his desire for viewers to immerse themselves fully in ‘King’. He stated, “Everything in King…worked very hard to entertain as many as possible,” highlighting the inclusive nature of the film’s features, such as action sequences and music.

Fan queries regarding the film’s trailer also featured prominently during the session, with the actor revealing that the team is dedicated to preparing material that befits the film’s grandeur. Khan addressed the ongoing anticipation for the trailer, asserting that he is focused on delivering a quality product and not rushing the process. He explained to his followers, “Just look at the picture! I’m crafting a really good one to truly satisfy the heart.”

On the subject of music, Khan mentioned that a song’s release is pending as Arijit Singh is in the process of finalising it, highlighting Singh’s commitment to perfection.
