Quanto Agroworld Limited Launches IPO Focused on Lemongrass Products

Quantidade Agroworld Limited, which specializes in the cultivation and processing of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), has confirmed the commencement of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on September 15, 2026. The offering includes up to 46,30,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The anticipated issue size for the IPO is ₹31.02 crore, with shares priced at ₹67 per unit.

The minimum bid for this IPO requires investors to subscribe to a lot of 2,000 equity shares, effectively a minimum of 4,000 equity shares. The shares are expected to be listed on the SME Platform of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE SME).

Proceeds from the IPO will predominantly be allocated towards the company’s capital expenditures, particularly for the development of a distillation facility in Ravalgaon, Maharashtra, as well as for the expansion of its farm operations, repayment of existing debts, and general corporate initiatives.

Founded in 2018, Quanto Agroworld Limited operates in the arena of cultivating, processing, and supplying MAPs, with a significant emphasis on lemongrass and its derivative products, including essential oils and biomass. The firm operates from government-leased land and possesses diverse processing and distillation capabilities.

The revenue model is primarily B2B, servicing various clients such as FMCG companies, ingredient traders, manufacturers of herbal and nutraceutical products, as well as personal care formulators. The products cater to fields like herbal tea, functional beverages, and aromatherapy.

Quanto Agroworld Limited adheres to a model designed to minimize waste, as post-distillation biomass is repurposed as compost or boiler fuel. This approach supports the company’s commitment to a circular resource utilization strategy and enhances its sustainability efforts.

Surendra Agarwal, Chairman and Executive Director of Quanto Agroworld Limited, stated that the IPO represents a crucial development in the company’s trajectory, enabling it to bolster its operational capabilities and meet long-term objectives. He highlighted the focus on expanding the cultivation base and refining the processing infrastructure to enhance service delivery to B2B clients.

Rishabh Singhvi, Director of Sobhagya Capital Options Private Limited, the lead manager for the IPO, commented on Quanto Agroworld’s unique position in the MAPs sector. He emphasized the integrated business model that increases quality control and operational efficiency. He noted that the company’s objective includes boosting raw material availability and further expanding its product offerings to tap into both domestic and selected international markets.

The revenue generated during the fiscal year 2026 stood at ₹4,034.77 lakh, with an EBITDA of ₹1,191.70 lakh and a net profit after tax of ₹838.46 lakh, reflecting the company’s robust financial performance and strategic foresight in expanding its operations while maintaining operational efficiency.
