Navy Ensures Safe Passage of Tankers Through Hormuz, Says Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh confirmed on Thursday that Indian Navy vessels are actively escorting oil tankers through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. No Fuel Shortage, Assures Government

While speaking at the Sainik Samman Sammelan in Kerala, Singh assured the public that India is not experiencing any fuel or gas shortages. He stated that the nation has prepared itself adequately to address any potential energy supply disruptions resulting from current geopolitical conflicts.

Singh also noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is effectively engaging in diplomatic efforts to protect India’s interests within the Gulf region. He reiterated the government’s readiness to respond to varying scenarios that may unfold in the region, highlighting the importance of timely interventions in foreign policy.

Rajnath Singh Backs BJP Ahead of Kerala Polls

In addition to discussing national security, the Defence Minister called upon voters to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Kerala assembly elections. He characterized the BJP as the party capable of facilitating positive changes within the state. Singh referred to the commitments made by the BJP as “Modiyude guarantees,” signaling confidence in Modi’s leadership.

The Kerala Assembly elections are slated for April 9, featuring a total of 140 constituencies. The BJP aims to strengthen its presence in the state as part of its broader national strategy in the lead-up to the elections.
