During her explanation, Tawde revealed that she inquired about the watch’s brand from her daughter, who informed her that it is a Michael Kors watch priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 16,000. “I asked my daughter about the brand of the watch; she told me it is a watch of the brand Michael Kors, but it’s just a Rs 15-16-thousand-rupee watch. So I don’t know what brand you’ve been talking about since yesterday,” she commented. This clarification comes in light of discussions and speculation circulating on social media regarding her choice of accessories.

In addition to addressing the controversy, Tawde recently chaired a joint meeting of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) focused on allegations concerning the issuance of fake birth certificates to individuals from Bangladesh and other regions.
