Man Kills Friend Over Dispute of Rs 1,500 in Noida

A violent altercation over a sum of Rs 1,500 led to the death of a 35-year-old man in Noida on Thursday. The victim, identified as Rahul, who was living on the footpath, engaged in a heated argument with his friend Ravindra, a resident of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand, around 9 am. What started as a dispute over a small cash transaction quickly escalated into deadly violence.

Fatal Attack with a Stone

During the confrontation, Ravindra allegedly struck Rahul on the head with a stone, resulting in severe injuries. Following the attack, he reportedly pushed Rahul, who had lost consciousness, into a drainage ditch nearby. The police confirmed that Rahul died at the scene due to both the critical head injuries and drowning.

Discovery and Police Response

The body of the deceased was discovered by passers-by, who quickly notified the authorities. In response, police teams along with forensic experts arrived at the location to carry out an investigation. After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was retrieved and subsequently sent for a post-mortem examination.

The police have arrested Ravindra in connection with the murder. Investigations are ongoing as authorities gather further details regarding the incident. The case highlights the severe consequences stemming from minor disputes turning violent, resulting in tragic outcomes.
