This fire in Gorakhpur follows a recent significant incident on March 6, when a large fire broke out at a paint manufacturing facility in the Mainapur Industrial Area on Meerut Road in Ghaziabad. In that event, around 20 fire tenders were deployed to combat the flames, which also spread to a nearby scrap warehouse. Chief Fire Officer, Rahul Kumar, stated that firefighting teams successfully managed to extinguish the fire at the warehouse, preventing further escalation of the incident.
