A lawyer was shot dead in broad daylight in the Katwaru Ka Pura neighbourhood of Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The victim, identified as Rajeev Singh, was reportedly on his regular morning walk when he was approached by a motorcycle-riding attacker. The assailant reportedly dismounted and fired shots at Singh from very close range using a country-made firearm.

In the video, the assailant can be seen waiting patiently before executing the attack, with a companion remaining on the motorcycle throughout the sequence of events.

Singh reportedly fell to the ground immediately after being shot, and unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the incident, there was a brief struggle as the attackers attempted to flee but encountered difficulty as their motorcycle stalled for several moments.
