“8 Kalash With Bones, Hair”: Black Magic In Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital?

A very shocking incident has come to light from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai’s Bandra. The hospital’s trustee Prashant Mehta has alleged the involvement of murder like sacrifices after the discovery of eight kalash under the office of the current trustees in December 2024. These Kalash contained human skulls, bones, hair, and rice, suggesting the performance of black magic rituals.

Discovery of Human Remains

Mehta stated that he had instructed the hospital’s engineering department to break open the flooring of the office. During this procedure, they discovered the objects hidden beneath the floorboards. The entire process of breaking the flooring and the subsequent discovery was recorded on camera. Mehta claims that these objects created a negative atmosphere in the office and the hospital.
He accused former trustees of conducting these occult practices. He said “We found eight urns filled with human remains under the flooring of my office cabin at Lilavati Hospital. Some former employees brought this to my notice in December 2024. These findings suggest rituals involving murder-like sacrifices, conducted by former trustees.”

Press Conference

Param Bir Singh, the Former Mumbai police commissioner, who is now the executive director at Lilavati Hospital, held a press conference on Tuesday to address the issue. During the conference he alleged that illegal trustees of the trust indulged in gross wrongdoings while the previous trust was in control.

Singh said, “The current board of trustees, after taking charge, roped in a forensic auditor, and financial irregularities worth nearly Rs 1,250 crore surfaced. After this Prashant Kishore Mehta, 55, a permanent trustee in Lilavati Hospital, approached the Bandra police, but as they refused to file an FIR, Mehta approached a Bandra court and filed a complaint regarding the fraud, and the court directed the Bandra police station under section 175(3) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to register an FIR. The Bandra police registered a case. The case may soon be transferred to the EOW (economic offences wing)”.

Alleged Black Magic

In addition to the financial allegations, the Hospital trust claims that black magic rituals were carried out on hospital premises. Furthermore, the Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust, which runs the hospital, has filed complaints with the Enforcement Directorate and Bandra Police Station. The trust alleged financial misconduct and misappropriation of over Rs 1,500 crore by former trustees and related individuals.
An FIR was registered against 17 people for allegedly embezzling Rs 1,500 crore in the past 20 years. The case was filed against Lilavati hospital’s seven former trustees, equipment suppliers and vendors. Most of the accused are now based in Dubai and Belgium.

Hospital’s Permanent Resident Trustee Prashant Mehta stated that, “We filed complaints which translated into FIRs due to the orders of the Bandra Magistrate Court. More than three FIRs have been filed against the former trustees and other related individuals. A fourth proceeding against these individuals is now pending before the Learned Magistrate which is based on our complaint filed in the Bandra Police Station for black magic and occult practices”.

Forensic Audit Conducted

Amid the ongoing legal battle, the current trustees commissioned a forensic audit to examine the hospital’s financial records. Following the audit the auditors found evidence of over Rs 1,500 crore being misappropriated, primarily by former trustees, many of whom are based abroad in Dubai and Belgium.
“More than three FIRs have been filed against the former trustees and other related individuals. A fourth proceeding against these individuals is now pending before the Learned Magistrate,” Mehta said.

Investigations Underway

The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) is also investigating a separate case involving Rs 85 crore in alleged cheating, involving three former trustees of the hospital. This case concerns the alleged misuse of funds under the guise of purchasing medical equipment.
Prashant Mehta has urged the Enforcement Directorate to investigate these financial crimes under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act for all involved in these illegal activities.
