ICAI CA Final Results 2026 Announced: Diksha Goyal Achieves AIR 1; 7,590 Candidates Pass

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the results for the CA Final examination held in January 2026. This year, Diksha Goyal from Karnal has achieved the top position, securing the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) with a total of 486 out of 600 marks, equivalent to 81 percent. Overall, a total of 7,590 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants following the results announcement. The exam continues to reflect the rigorous standards expected in the profession.

Detailed Pass Percentages for Each Group

In terms of pass percentages, the official data from ICAI shows that in Group I, 53,652 candidates appeared for the exam, of which 11,282 managed to pass, resulting in a pass percentage of 21.03 percent. In Group II, 38,169 candidates took the examination, with only 3,726 passing, leading to a pass percentage of 9.76 percent. When considering both groups, 22,293 candidates appeared, with 2,446 successfully passing, which equates to a pass percentage of 10.97 percent. These numbers illustrate the competitive nature of the CA Final examination and the high standards maintained by ICAI.

Top Ranking Candidates in CA Final January 2026

The complete list of top-ranking candidates for the CA Final January 2026 examination has also been released. The candidates securing the top positions are as follows: Diksha Goyal from Karnal is AIR 1 with 486 marks, marking a percentage of 81.00. In second place is Anirudh Garg from Paonta Sahib with 452 marks, amounting to a percentage of 75.33. Jointly securing the third position are Rishabh Jain from New Delhi and Dhruv Dembla from Sonepat, both achieving 451 marks, which results in a percentage of 75.17 for each. The list highlights the exceptional performance of these candidates in one of India’s most competitive professional exams.

New Chartered Accountants Emerge

With the announcement of results, a total of 7,590 candidates are now officially recognized as Chartered Accountants. Those who have successfully cleared both groups have the opportunity to proceed with the formalities to obtain ICAI membership, marking the start of their professional careers in the field.
