In a shocking update, Police have arrested a doctor from Haryana’s Faridabad and recovered 350 kg of ammonium nitrate, along with an AK-47 rifle, a pistol, three magazines, 20 timers, a walkie-talkie set and ammunition from a rented accommodation at Dhauj village.
On Monday, a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Haryana Police arrested a Kashmiri doctor named Dr Adil Ahmad Rather, from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of putting up posters in support of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar. Rather has been booked under the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
After questioning the doctor, a car and deadly weapons were recovered from the accused’s rented house. While investigating, the police came to know that the suspicious car belongs to a female doctor. The code number of the car of the Maruti Suzuki Swift model starts with HR 51. The country’s intelligence department has been shaken by this incident. It is believed that the women’s brigade of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which was being heard about in Pakistan, has now become active in India.
Is Jaish-e-Mohammed using its women’s brigade to give a new form to terrorism? Is that brigade now active in North India? During the investigation of the incident, a woman doctor came to the attention of the investigators. This woman suspect is closely involved in this huge terrorist activity. From there, it is being assumed that Masood’s ‘zenana jehadis’ have become active on Indian soil.
In a press conference on Monday afternoon, Faridabad Police Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta shared that during questioning, Adil Ahmad Rather has revealed information that led police to Dr Mujammil Shakeel (also referred to as Mujahil Shakil or Muzammil Shakeel), another doctor from Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir employed at the Al-Falah Hospital in Faridabad.
Arrested doctors were in touch with handlers in Kashmir
The two doctors in Faridabad were in regular touch with their handlers in Kashmir and were awaiting details of their target, top sources in the security establishment have said. Dr Adeel and Dr Muzammil have told the police during interrogation that they were chosen for the task because the handlers believed “no one would suspect doctors in Delhi NCR”, the sources said. The doctors were told to wait for details regarding their target.
The conspiracy, the sources said, was hatched in Pakistan, and the directions were coming through handlers in Kashmir. Police said this terror module was linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. The operation has led to the arrest of key operatives and recovery of a massive cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, during coordinated searches in J&K and other states.
JeM’s female wing Jamaat-ul-Mominaat active in India?
The Indian army landed a major blow on Jaish during Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22. 11 members of Masood Azhar’s family were killed in that operation. Immediately after this, Jaish had announced the formation of a new women’s brigade under the leadership of Masood Azhar’s sister Sadia to take revenge against India. Jaish started creating this organization from Markaz-Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur. The name of this new women’s brigade is Jamaat-ul-Mominaat. The formation was publicly announced by JeM chief Masood Azhar in a letter in October 2025.
Incidentally, Indian army destroyed the Jaish headquarters in Bahawalpur during Operation Sindoor. It is heard that ‘Jaamat-ul-Mominaat’ is trying to spread its influence in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh Haryana and some parts of South India to create communal tension. It is trying to increase its activities in India through online networks. Its ideas are being spread through various social media platforms and WhatsApp groups. Investigators suspect that the Jamaat-ul-Mominat of Jaish-e-Mohammed is behind the huge quantity of explosives and firearms recovered from Faridabad. Currently, efforts are being made to identify each member of this women’s brigade of Jaish spread across India.
