Dishaa Jhaa Confirms Production of ‘Aashram 4’ and ‘Raajneeti 2’

Dishaa Jhaa, the daughter of renowned filmmaker Prakash Jha, has confirmed that work is underway for the highly anticipated Aashram 4. In an exclusive conversation, she also revealed that Raajneeti 2 is in development alongside several other ongoing film projects. Jhaa spoke about her experiences in production and her journey in Indian cinema.

Insights from the Set of Raajneeti

Reflecting on her experiences while filming the ensemble cast movie Raajneeti back in 2010, Dishaa described the project as both enjoyable and challenging due to the large number of actors involved. She noted that the daily preparations for the cast were substantial, but the atmosphere was relaxed, allowing her to form bonds with the artists during breaks. Her past work with notable actors has shaped her understanding of the film industry.

Collaborations with Iconic Figures

In addition to her experiences in the Raajneeti production, Dishaa had the opportunity to work with Amitabh Bachchan in the film Satyagraha, released in 2013. She expressed her admiration for the legendary actor, noting her initial star-struck feelings during his onset arrivals, as well as the positive rapport her father shares with him.

Future Film Releases

When discussing future projects, Dishaa indicated that the script for Raajneeti 2 is still under development. She emphasized that casting decisions would follow once the scripting process is complete. The anticipation surrounding this sequel is high, but she refrained from making specific announcements regarding the cast or release timeline.

Dishaa also provided updates on the film Janadesh, which recently wrapped shooting and features actors Rahul Bose, Tusshar Kapoor, Ishwak Singh, and Pragati Srivastava. She stated that post-production is currently in progress and expressed hopes for a theatrical release in the near future, emphasizing their goal to partner with a studio for the release.
