The film, produced with an estimated budget of Rs 45 crore, has reportedly yielded over 200 per cent profit. The movie premiered at the box office during the Independence Day weekend, competing against Batwara 1947. It generated an opening day collection of Rs 22 crore, which saw a substantial increase on its second day, accumulating Rs 33.75 crore. By the conclusion of its first week, Awarapan 2 had amassed Rs 113.50 crore in India net, while its global gross had reached Rs 161.67 crore.
Sustained Momentum in Subsequent Days
The film demonstrated strong performance during its second weekend and successfully navigated the second Monday test, which is often crucial for films. On Day 8, it earned Rs 5.75 crore, followed by Rs 8.25 crore on Day 9. Continuing this trend, it collected Rs 8.75 crore on Day 10, although there was a decline to Rs 2.75 crore on Day 11.
