In a surprising move, renowned composer A R Rahman has announced a 40-day digital detox. The announcement was made during a live concert in Chennai, where the artist expressed his intent to focus on his upcoming projects.

Focus on Ramayana Event

Sources indicate that the break is designed to provide Rahman with the necessary time to complete his work on the highly anticipated Ramayana project. This film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, is set to unveil its cast and crew in a significant event scheduled for March 2026. This intensive period will allow Rahman to work diligently to meet the project’s upcoming deadlines.

This initiative marks Rahman’s first significant withdrawal from public engagements throughout his illustrious career. By stepping back from digital distractions, he aims to enhance his creative output for the ambitious project.
