Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in New Delhi on September 26 to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence located at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. This visit marks an important engagement for Adityanath, highlighting ongoing political discussions at the national level.

Discussions with Union Home Minister and BJP President

During his trip, Yogi Adityanath is also slated to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president Nitin Nabin. These consultations are significant, given the recent developments and preparations for upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. The timing of this visit follows Adityanath’s attendance at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 held in Greater Noida, where he engaged with international business representatives.

At the trade show, the Chief Minister conducted a round-table meeting with various foreign companies from nations such as Russia, Vietnam, Belarus, Japan, and Singapore. He extended invitations for investments in several sectors of Uttar Pradesh, including defence, pharmaceuticals, aviation, medical devices, agriculture, and manufacturing. Amit Shah accompanied Yogi Adityanath at the event, emphasizing the improved investment climate in Uttar Pradesh and acknowledging enhancements in law and order during the current administration.

Earlier in the week, the Chief Minister and BJP president Nitin Nabin reviewed the party’s organisational strategies in Meerut, focusing on preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. During this meeting, they assessed the readiness at various levels including booths, Shakti Kendras, Mandals, and districts, fostering discussions with party workers to galvanise support.

Ongoing Political Campaigns and Outreach Initiatives

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh is currently undertaking the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, a month-long outreach initiative running from September 17 to October 17. This campaign aims to commemorate Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years of public service and includes various social service initiatives, cultural programmes, and youth engagement activities. Yogi Adityanath has actively reviewed the preparations for these outreach efforts.

In light of the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections, Adityanath’s latest visit to Delhi is also set against the backdrop of intensified preparations by the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
