Sunny Deol Starts Shooting New Action Thriller with Excel Entertainment

A new action thriller featuring actor Sunny Deol has officially commenced filming, marking a notable collaboration between industry heavyweights Excel Entertainment, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and director A. R. Murugadoss. The project began shooting on February 27, 2026, and is currently in progress.

Supporting Cast and Production Team

Alongside Sunny Deol, actress Jyotika will play a significant role in the film. Following the success of ‘Border 2,’ Deol is dedicating his time to ensure the project’s completion during the summer of 2026.

The film is being helmed by Balaji Ganesh, a Chennai-based filmmaker making his directorial debut. Ganesh has previously served as a co-director under A. R. Murugadoss, contributing to story development and large-scale productions. He now steps into the spotlight, positioning this film as a suspense-driven action thriller.
