Noida has been recognized by Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh as the largest employment hub in India’s textile industry. Singh believes that this progress signifies a growing economy, reinforcing the possibility that India will attain a $350 billion market size shortly.

The Union Minister highlighted Noida’s emergence as a prominent global hub for apparel exports, which has created numerous job opportunities. Singh’s comments came after attending the Annual Awards for Outstanding Export Performance hosted by the Noida Apparel Export Cluster. He remarked on how Noida’s growth reflects sustainable economic development and job creation in the region.

On his social media platform, Singh detailed this vision, emphasizing the essential role of the textile and apparel industry in driving entrepreneurship and job opportunities in the country. He underscored how this sector empowers micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) while also encouraging women’s participation in the workforce.
