Manav Kaul has expressed his astonishment upon learning that the series ‘Real Kashmir Football Club’, in which he stars alongside Zeeshan Ayyub, has received an International Emmy nomination. Kaul mentioned that the initial reaction from himself and his team was one of disbelief, with many believing the news to be a prank.

The sports drama has been nominated in the category of Best Drama Series for the upcoming International Emmy Awards. It will compete against titles such as ‘A Thousand Blows’, the French production ‘Carême’, and Argentina’s ‘Menem’. Kaul shared that it was not until they conducted their own research that they realised the nomination was genuine.
