According to reports, the incident occurred on September 5, 2023, at approximately 4:30 am. The pedestrian, identified as Himanshu, stated that he was crossing the road when he was struck by a speeding car, which subsequently fled the scene. Himanshu noted that he believed the vehicle was operating at a pace exceeding 100 km/h.

Additions to the case emerged when a video capturing the incident surfaced on social media, drawing significant public attention. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) for Central Noida, Swatantra Singh, confirmed that prompt action was taken following the incident. He specified that the vehicle involved has been seized and that all necessary legal steps are being undertaken.

Authorities at the Bisrakh police station reported that a swift tracking operation led to the arrest of the driver shortly after the incident was reported. The police have reiterated their commitment to thorough investigations and ensuring accountability for such accidents.

Himanshu, reflecting on the event, shared that he had just celebrated his birthday before the accident took place while out with his wife. He expressed gratitude that the situation was not worse and hopes for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
