Sudha Chandran, a veteran actor and acclaimed dancer, is trending on social media because of a video in which she is seen in a spiritual trance at a Jagran (religious gathering). Many social media users are calling it mere drama, while she is seen overwhelmed by intense spiritual emotions. The veteran actor is being trolled; however, Sudha has clearly said that she does not feel any need to justify herself to any troller. In an interview with Zoom, Sudha Chandran shared her experience and how she is being trolled for the viral video. She even shared that many social media users have tagged it as ‘fake’ and accused her of doing ‘drama’.
How did Sudha Chandran react to her video being trolled?
In the interview, Sudha said, “I am not here to justify. I have my perception towards life. I have certain connections that I respect. Mujhe logon se koi lena dena nahi hai. Jo troll karte hain, acchi baat hai, khush rahein apni zindagi mein (I don’t care about those people. The ones who are trolling, good for them. Be happy). What about those millions of people who could connect and resonate with it? Mere liye woh important hai (For me, that is important).”
She even said that she is a self-made woman and isn’t answerable to anyone and despite all the trolling, with the blessings of the Almighty, she would continue to live with dignity and respect. She quoted, “In my life, I have never thought about log kya bolenge. Even after my accident, logon ne kaha tha ki kya bewakoofi kar rahi ho tum (Even after my accident, people said I was being foolish for the activities I did). Lekin jab wahi ek success story ban jaata hai, log usi ke baare mein charcha karte hain (But once it becomes a success story, people only talk about it).”
