Recap of Previous Films

The first film in the series, released in 2016, introduced audiences to Red, who befriends Chuck and Bomb during anger management sessions. The narrative escalates when King Leonard and his green pigs invade Bird Island, prompting Red to suspect their motives. His fears are validated when the pigs steal the birds’ eggs, leading Red to spearhead a mission to rescue them. This act of bravery earns him the respect of his community after he successfully defeats Leonard and retrieves the eggs.

In the sequel released in 2019, Red and the pigs find themselves embroiled in a prank war until a new threat emerges from Eagle Island, ruled by Zeta. The birds and pigs are forced to set aside their differences and unite against Zeta, who possesses a formidable superweapon. With the assistance of Silver and pig inventor Garry, Red learns the significance of teamwork, ultimately defeating Zeta. The film concludes with the revelation that Zeta was once Mighty Eagle’s fiancée, leading to a reconciliation that fosters peace between the birds and pigs.
