The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for Delhi revealed that a total of seven hundred applications for new voter registrations were accepted across seventy Assembly constituencies by the Election Registration Officers (EROs) by Tuesday. Chadha’s entry into the voter rolls was among those approved, indicating procedural compliance with electoral norms.

It is noteworthy that Chadha has maintained his voter registration in Punjab since 2024. This context is significant, as it adds layers to the debate surrounding his recent registration in Delhi, which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has contested vehemently.
