The CSR Journal Magazine

Producers Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Divyansh Jain, and Apoorva Mehta, alongside director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, showcased their anticipated film Naagzilla at the It Starts Here event organized by Prime Video. The event marked a significant occasion for the creative team, highlighting their efforts in bringing this unique narrative to life.

Exclusive Motion Poster Captivates Audience

An engaging motion poster of Naagzilla was revealed during the event, featuring the film’s lead actor, Kartik Aaryan. The exclusive premiere received a warm reception from attendees, further amplifying excitement surrounding the film.

Innovative Approach to Storytelling

Mrighdeep Singh Lamba emphasized the distinctiveness of Naagzilla compared to typical creature horror films. He stated, “In most creature features, the tendency leans towards fear and violence. However, our film introduces a comedic element while maintaining high production values in terms of scale and visual appeal.”

A Blend of Humor and Fantasy

In his remarks, Singh highlighted the creative blend of humor with unusual circumstances and eccentric characters. He mentioned, “In my previous works, I strive to intertwine reality and fantasy. Naagzilla presents a world where icchadhaari nags exist alongside humans, setting it apart from other offerings.” The director likened the film’s essence to a fusion of two beloved comedies, stating, “It’s like Hera Pheri meets Fukrey, set in a unique icchadhaari universe.”

Building Anticipation for Upcoming Releases

The event not only showcased Naagzilla but also teased other upcoming projects on Prime Video, including the intriguing storyline starring Aditya Rawal in the Tax Department Story, with Ravi Kishan set to portray the antagonist. Such announcements continue to build excitement for the streaming service’s future lineup.
