Specific targets within Pakistan included a military camp near Faizabad, military headquarters in Nowshera, as well as facilities in the military township of Jamrud and Abbottabad. Afghanistan’s military officials stated that the strikes were executed successfully and aimed at significant military infrastructure.

According to a statement from the Afghan Ministry of Defence, the military actions were described as retaliatory measures against what they termed “aerial incursions” by Pakistani forces.
