NEET-UG 2026 Leak Row Deepens: 135 Questions From ‘Guess Paper’ Match Final Exam

The CSR Journal Magazine

With growing concerns over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, the probe has been intensified. Recently a handwritten ‘guess paper’ circulated a day before the exam was found to have 135 questions exactly matching the final paper. A Special Operations Group (SOG) revealed that the ‘guess paper’ contained 281 questions, 135 of which matched the NEET exam conducted on May 3. The biology and chemistry questions matched perfectly.

Investigation so far

Investigation has revealed that all 45 chemistry questions were the same as in the handwritten ‘guess paper’. It is being said that the questions in the ‘guess paper’ that matched the actual test paper accounted for 600 marks out of 720. Currently the investigation is determining whether the practice paper was a guess or if the actual paper was leaked beforehand by coincidence.

According to sources, the ‘guess paper’ was circulated in Sikar, Rajasthan on May 1, just two days before the exam. It is alleged that the ‘guess paper’ was sold for prices starting at Rs 20,000 up to Rs 2 lakh. The night before the exam, it was sold for Rs 30,000 each. Investigation took a turn when it was found that the sequence of answer options also matched.

MBBS Student Under Investigation

The Special Operation Team tracked the originator of the ‘guess paper’ to a medical student from Churu district Rajasthan, who is currently studying medicine in Kerala. It is suspected that the medical student shared the paper with a friend in Sikar and later it was reshared to many students residing in PG, coaching, etc.

The ‘guess paper’ contains over 300 handwritten questions, and experts confirmed the handwriting belongs to a single person. It includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It has questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Investigation suggests the paper was shared multiple times before the exam, but police are investigating whether hardcopies of the questions were also circulated.

PG Operator Under Scrutiny

One PG operator in Sikar is allegedly involved in this chain, he allegedly received and forwarded the material before later filing a complaint with the police and the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is suspected that he filed the complaint to safeguard himself.

On May 10, NTA has acknowledged that the case is in their notice and they are very well aware of the probe into alleged paper leak of NEET-UG 2026.

“Whatever the agencies determine, including findings that may require further action, will be examined transparently and disclosed in keeping with established procedure,” the NTA said.
