Madhya Pradesh Launches Free Coaching for SSC, Banking and Civil Services Aspirants

The CSR Journal Magazine

The Madhya Pradesh government is set to introduce “Mama Coaching Classes,” an initiative aimed at offering free coaching for various competitive examinations. Scheduled for launch on March 5, the program will be inaugurated by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The kickoff event will take place in Vidisha, with additional locations planned in Raisen and Bhairuunda. This initiative coincides with the celebration of Chouhan’s birthday, observed as Prem-Seva Sankalp Diwas in Vidisha.

Focus on Inclusive Education

One of the primary objectives of the Mama Coaching Classes is to alleviate the financial burden that students often face when seeking private coaching services. By providing free, high-quality academic support, the initiative aims to make competitive exam preparation accessible to students from diverse economic backgrounds. Emphasis will be placed on developing conceptual understanding, effective exam strategies, and consistent study habits.

Targeting Key Districts

The program is strategically aimed at regions where students typically engage in self-study due to a lack of structured coaching options. Starting in Vidisha, Raisen, and Bhairuunda allows the initiative to directly address the needs of areas where students may otherwise struggle with exam preparation. This effort reflects a broader commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and ensuring that young aspirants can compete in important national and state-level recruitment assessments.

Academic Recognition Alongside Coaching Initiative

In conjunction with the launch of the coaching classes, the government will introduce the “Prem-Sundar Pratibha Samman.” This recognition program honors the memory of Chouhan’s parents and aims to reward academic excellence among high school students.

Top performers in Classes 10 and 12 from eight constituencies within Vidisha will receive financial awards of Rs 51,000, Rs 31,000, and Rs 21,000 for the top three students. Additionally, other special prizes will be allotted to the highest achievers at the Lok Sabha level.

Broader Initiatives in Education and Health

Alongside the educational initiatives, the program will also feature various healthcare and social campaigns aimed at community support. However, the emphasis remains firmly on enhancing educational resources and recognizing academic talent through these new schemes. The overarching goal is to create a robust framework for youth development and prepare them for employment opportunities within government and professional sectors.
