Leaked Galaxy S26 and S26+ Images Give First Look at Design, Colors, and Camera Features

The CSR Journal Magazine

As Samsung prepares for its upcoming Unpacked event, new images have surfaced that present a nearly complete look at the anticipated Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus. These visuals, believed to be part of planned promotional materials, showcase the devices from various angles, offering insights into their design ahead of the official unveiling.

Although Samsung has not yet made any formal announcements regarding the smartphones, the leaked images indicate a continuation of the brand’s established design philosophy, focusing on refinement and elegance rather than radical changes.

Design Features Highlighted

The images suggest that the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will feature flat displays with minimal bezels. The overall form appears sleek and well-proportioned. On the back, the individually protruding camera rings are seen resting on a subtly elevated module, indicating an evolution in design rather than a complete overhaul. Color options are anticipated to play a significant role this year, with the standard models expected to be available in White, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Black. Among these, Cobalt Violet is projected to be a prominent shade in marketing efforts.

Material and Textures Identified

The metal frame appears flat, with gently rounded edges to enhance comfort during use. The back panel is finished in matte across all color variants, which should help mitigate fingerprints while providing a premium look and feel. Additional colors like Silver Shadow and Pink Gold may also be introduced, potentially limited to online sales through Samsung’s website.

Distinct Design for Galaxy S26 Ultra

Separate leaks have revealed details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which maintains a unique design identity compared to the standard models. The Ultra version features sharper, boxier edges, likely intended to accommodate the S Pen and a larger battery. While it shares the primary color palette of White, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Black, these colors appear more subdued, aligning with the Ultra model’s premium positioning. The camera system on the Ultra variant is noticeably more prominent, with larger lenses emphasizing its advanced photography capabilities.

Official Launch Event Scheduled

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco, starting at 10 a.m. PT, which converts to 11:30 p.m. IST in India. The event will be made accessible to the public through live streaming on Samsung’s official platforms.

Pricing Information Leaked

Insights from a German publication suggest that the pricing for the Galaxy S26 series may see a slight increase compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy S26 is projected to start at EUR 999 (approximately INR 1,07,700), while the Galaxy S26+ may begin at EUR 1,269 (around INR 1,36,800). The Galaxy S26 Ultra could have a starting price of at least EUR 1,469 (approximately INR 1,58,400). These figures indicate a modest rise in pricing from the previous Galaxy S25 series.

Specifications Leaked for Standard Models

Rumored specifications for the Galaxy S26 include a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the S26+ may feature a larger 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with similar refresh capabilities. Both devices are expected to utilize Corning Gorilla Armor 2 for protection and may be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor along with 12GB of RAM. The storage options are likely to expand up to 512GB, with the devices running One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.

Expected Features for Galaxy S26 Ultra

The Ultra variant is speculated to sport a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by a specialized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In terms of imaging, it may include a 200-megapixel main sensor alongside various other advanced camera features, reinforced by a 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired charging support. These specifications will be officially confirmed during the Unpacked event later this month.
