Israeli Military Destroys Khamenei’s Aircraft at Tehran Airport

The Israeli armed forces announced on Monday that they successfully destroyed an aircraft previously utilized by Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei during an overnight operation at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. The Israeli military stated that the aircraft had served high-ranking Iranian officials and military leaders for both domestic and international travel, as well as for coordination with allied nations. Located in the capital, Mehrabad is one of the oldest airports in Tehran, primarily catering to domestic flights while also hosting regional services. The airport plays a dual role, accommodating civilian operations alongside military assets, making it the busiest domestic airport in Iran.

Missile Strike Hits Residential Area in Arak

In a separate incident, a densely populated residential complex in Arak was reported to have been struck by missiles in an operation attributed to the United States and Israel, according to state-run Press TV. The attack affected an area near residential buildings, with visuals displaying significant structural damage and destroyed vehicles resulting from the explosion.

Fujairah Port Targeted in Drone Attack

The Port of Fujairah has once more experienced a drone strike amidst heightened tensions involving the United States, Iran, and Israel. Sources indicated that the attack ignited a fire in the emirate’s petroleum industrial zone. Consequently, oil loading operations at the United Arab Emirates port have been halted. Fujairah, situated on the Gulf of Oman just outside the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, is a key exit point for approximately one million barrels per day of Murban crude from the UAE, constituting about 1% of global oil demand.

US Airstrikes Near Chabahar Free Trade Zone

Military operations by US fighter jets have reportedly targeted facilities close to the Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone, according to Al Jazeera, which cited information from Voice of America’s Persian service. Witnesses reported hearing loud explosions in a mountainous region adjacent to the zone following these strikes.

Flight Operations Resume at Dubai International Airport

Following a temporary suspension of flight operations due to a drone strike near a fuel tank facility, Dubai International Airport has resumed regular services. The brief halt lasted approximately seven hours, causing significant travel disruptions before authorities gradually normalized operations.
