The altercation took place on March 5 aboard the Shri Ganganagar Express during a journey from Yamunanagar. Involved were Premlata Verma and her daughter, who found themselves in a tense disagreement with two other passengers regarding seating arrangements.

The disagreement escalated quickly, resulting in a loud confrontation that caught the attention of fellow passengers. One bystander recorded the incident on their mobile device, which later surfaced on social media platforms. The footage illustrates the intensity of the verbal exchange occurring within the train compartment, attracting scrutiny from internet users.

Action Taken at Saharanpur Railway Station

Upon the train’s arrival at Saharanpur Railway Station, Verma approached local authorities to file a formal complaint regarding the incident. She provided a detailed written statement at the Government Railway Police (GRP) station, explaining the circumstances that led to the conflict during the trip.

In response to the complaint, local police initiated a Zero FIR, enabling the case to be registered at a station regardless of the jurisdiction involved. The case was subsequently reassigned to Yamunanagar, where the altercation was originally reported to have occurred.
