The admission notification for the 2026-27 session confirms that each of the four rail engineering disciplines and the AI and Data Science programme will accommodate 60 students, while Aviation Engineering comprises 40 seats and Maritime Engineering features 30 seats. The curriculum is designed to encompass varied subjects, including railway signalling, railway operations, and advances in rail technology, thereby delivering a well-rounded educational experience.

Beyond undergraduate studies, GSV has expanded its offerings to include postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Students and professionals can pursue Master of Technology (MTech) degrees in Railway Engineering and Intelligent Transport Systems, as well as specialised courses in bridge, tunnel, and highway engineering. Furthermore, the MBA programmes, focused on Logistics and Supply Chain Management, add an essential business component to the academic framework.

Admission Procedures and Fee Structure

Admission to the BTech programmes for the academic year 2026-27 requires candidates to qualify for the JEE Main examination. The selection process is conducted through JoSAA and CSAB counselling, with no specific entrance test mandated by GSV. Students aspiring to enter other programmes are advised to refer to the specific admission notifications, as selection criteria may include entrance tests or interviews, particularly for MBA courses.

The fee structure for the first year of the BTech programme has been outlined by GSV. For day scholars, the fee is set at Rs 1,76,600, while hostellers are required to pay Rs 2,66,200, which incorporates expenses for tuition, accommodation, electricity, and meals. Day scholars’ fees comprise tuition and requisite university charges, excluding accommodation and meal costs. It is noted that fee adjustments may occur as deemed necessary by relevant authorities.

The programmes cater to various fields within the transportation and logistics sector, such as aviation, maritime transport, and supply chain management.
