The makers of the forthcoming pan-India film Mahakali have released an extended teaser, providing audiences with a detailed preview of the mythological realm that forms part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. This teaser, titled “Shukracharya’s War Cry”, features actor Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role, portraying the sage Shukracharya.

The teaser, which runs for two minutes and fifty-three seconds, introduces Khanna in a striking transformation as Shukracharya, the spiritual leader of the Asuras. Mahakali is penned by Prasanth Varma, who also serves as the director alongside Puja Aparna Kolluru. This film is an expansion of the cinematic universe introduced with Hanu-Man, slated for release in 2024. The cast includes Khanna, Sriya Reddy, Bhoomi Shetty, and Rohit Saraf, highlighting a diverse range of talent.
