This Diwali holds special significance for Alia and Ranbir, as it marks the last one spent in their current home. They are preparing to move into a newly constructed six-storey bungalow in Pali Hill, Mumbai, worth approximately ₹250 crore. Despite the excitement for their new home, Vastu will always remain emotionally significant, as it’s where the couple tied the knot and where their daughter, Raha, was born.

Alia’s Minimalist Yet Stunning Festive Look

Alia Bhatt, known for her minimalistic style, chose an elegant yet simple outfit for the Diwali celebrations. She wore a light pink chikankari kurti by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, featuring delicate white embroidery. The kurti had a sheer, relaxed silhouette, with a plunging V-neckline and full-length sleeves. Underneath, she wore a pink, sleeveless blouse embroidered with sequins.

To complement the kurti, Alia chose a butter yellow chiffon skirt-styled saree that gave the illusion of a saree. The saree had pleats at the front and broad patti borders decorated with golden embroidery. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the ensemble was completed with a choker necklace adorned with pearls and a ring. For her hair, Alia kept things simple with a centre parting and half of her locks secured with gajras. She opted for minimal makeup, keeping her look natural with a glossy pink lip, winged eyeliner, and soft golden eyeshadow.

Heartwarming Moments with Family

The Diwali celebrations were filled with joyful moments as Alia, Ranbir, Shaheen, and Ayan shared intimate moments with each other. Alia posted several pictures, including one where she and Ranbir posed together in front of a green wall decorated with fairy lights, sharing their love and festive spirit with fans. A touching video captured the loving bond between Alia and her sister Shaheen.

In one of the photos, Alia gave fans a rare peek at her daughter Raha, who was seen painting diyas, though her face was not visible. The moment was an intimate and sweet portrayal of the family’s festive spirit. Alia also expressed how emotional this Diwali was for her, as it’s their last one at Vastu. Reflecting on the moment, Alia said, “This is our last Diwali in the home where Raha was born. It’s a deeply emotional moment, but also a thrilling one because we’re creating memories that will last forever.”

A Farewell to Vastu

As Alia and Ranbir prepare to move into their new, luxurious home, the couple reflected on the memories created at Vastu. This residence has been central to some of the most significant moments of their lives, from their marriage to the birth of their daughter. Alia shared in a recent interview that she and Ranbir chose a home wedding to keep things intimate and simple, staying true to their nature as “homebodies.”

With Diwali marking the final celebration in their beloved home, Alia noted that the warmth and brightness of the occasion would stay with them forever, even as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir are set to star together in Love and War, a period drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Their fans are eagerly awaiting the couple’s next collaboration, making this Diwali even more special as they enjoy some downtime before diving into their busy schedules.
