CSR: Indian Bank extends helping hand to Manav Sewa Sangh, Karnal

Karnal, India: Indian Bank has sponsored a commercial vehicle to Manav Sewa Sangh, Karnal under its CSR initiatives that shall assist in collection and distribution of food and clothing to the needy people in and around Karnal.
Shri. Mahesh Kumar Bajaj, Executive Director, Indian Bank handed over the key of the vehicle to Shri Swami Premamurthy, Director, Manav Sewa Sangh. This good gesture by the Bank will further strengthen Manav Seva Sangh’s goal of extending welfare activities like providing food, drinking water and clothes to poor people in and around Karnal, besides organising health camps and meditation sessions for them.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Bajaj applauded the efforts of the Manav Sewa Sangh in reaching out to the marginalised sections with timely assistance. He further added that the Bank remains committed towards its social goals and undertakes varied CSR activities in vital areas of education, health, inclusive growth and environmental sustainability among others through its offices and branch network pan-India.
Shri Bijay Kumar Sarangi, Field General Manager, FGMO Chandigarh, Shri Avnish Pradhan, Zonal Manager, Karnal, and other senior officials of Indian Bank besides Shri Suresh Juneja, President, Dr. Bal Krishan Kaushik, General Secretary and other representatives of Manav Sewa Sangh, Karnal were also present during the event.
