CSR News: Over 800 Participants Celebrate Earth Day with Fitness and Sustainability

In a unique tribute to Earth Day, Anant Raj Limited successfully hosted the Anant Raj Runathon 2025—a vibrant celebration of fitness, family, and sustainability.

The event took place on the morning of April 20 at Anant Raj Estate, Sector 63A, Gurugram, attracting over 800 enthusiastic participants from across the Delhi-NCR region and beyond.

Curated by the renowned Coach Ravinder, a familiar name in the running circuit, the Runathon offered four race categories: 10-mile and 5-mile timed runs, a 5-mile walkathon, and a 1-mile kids’ run. Runners of all ages and backgrounds laced up to run through the lush, scenic roads surrounding the Sector 63A neighborhood—many for fun, and others for a cause.

The event aimed not only to promote health and community bonding but also to raise awareness about sustainable living practices. Participants were treated to a premium race experience, complete with quick-dry race T-shirts, finisher medals, timing certificates, goody bags, and a healthy breakfast spread to recharge post-run.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Aman Sarin, Director & Chief Executive Officer, Anant Raj Limited, said, “Earth Day reminds us of our shared responsibility towards the planet, and today’s Runathon is a testament to how fitness and sustainability can go hand-in-hand. We’re proud to see such an enthusiastic turnout and thankful to every participant who made this a success.”

Chief Guest Shri Ashok Kumar Garg – Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram (MCG), added, “It’s inspiring to witness a corporate like Anant Raj Limited promote environmental consciousness through such meaningful and energetic community engagement. Events like these not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also foster a collective sense of purpose toward protecting our environment.”

Participants competed for top honors in each category, with the top 3 male and female runners in the 10-mile, 5-mile, and 1-mile kids’ run being felicitated.

Lucky winners also walked away with exciting gifts through a lucky draw, including two premium bicycles and a smartwatch.

With music, food, and an electrifying atmosphere, the Runathon wasn’t just a race—it was a celebration of Earth, wellness, and togetherness. Anant Raj Limited plans to make this an annual tradition, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and community-driven growth.
