CSR: Cadila Pharma supports the state’s ‘Health Mela’

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a care-focused, research-driven company has supported the ‘Health Mela’ organized by the district administration of Unjha, Mehasna in North Gujarat through its CSR arm Indrashil Kaka-Ba and Kala-Budh Public Charitable Trust.
The ‘Health Mela,’ organised with the aim to sensitize people about preventive healthcare and provided basic treatment to patients at no cost, was supported by the Health Department of the Government of Gujarat. Cadila Pharmaceuticals supplied medicines to the “Health Mela” to support the government initiative to provide quality medicine to the needy and also be an active partner in preventive healthcare.
State minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat, Shri Rushikesh Patel acknowledged the role of Cadila Pharmaceuticals and felicitated the certificate of appreciation to support in reaching out the benefits of health mela to more than 5000 people.
Indrashil Kaka-Ba and Kala-Budh Public Charitable Trust, a CSR initiative of Cadila Pharmaceutical, is continuously serving and supporting social causes like education of kids in rural areas, building infrastructure like libraries, school renovation, tree plantation of more than 1 lakhs trees and organizing periodic health camps in rural areas which benefits the marginalized section of the society.
