The first song from the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been launched, showcasing a modern rendition of the classic track Ari Ari, originally by Bombay Rockers. The music video became available online on Thursday, March 12, amplifying the anticipation surrounding the film’s impending release.

Musical Collaboration and Production

This updated version of Ari Ari is the brainchild of Aditya Dhar, who has reimagined the song while Shashwat Sachdev is credited with its music composition, arrangement, and programming. The new adaptation melds contemporary musical elements with Punjabi cultural influences, creating a fresh auditory experience.

Featuring Diverse Vocal Talents

The song features contributions from several artists, including Navtej Singh Rehal of Bombay Rockers, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, and Sudhir Yaduvanshi. Additionally, the rap elements are crafted by Reble and Token, adding a modern twist to the piece. The lyrics for the track were created by Irshad Kamil in collaboration with Bombay Rockers, while Adam Lucas took charge of producing the score.

Visual Elements in the Music Video

The music video incorporates scenes from the film’s recently released trailer, alongside exclusive footage that introduces Ranveer Singh in a transformative role as Hamza Ali Mazari. These visuals are expected to enhance the viewer’s grasp of the film’s narrative and tone.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to premiere in theaters on March 19, with special preview screenings scheduled for March 18. The storyline continues from where its predecessor left off, delving into Hamza’s journey as he ascends to power in Karachi’s Lyari, solidifying his influence within both the criminal and political spheres of Pakistan.
