Specifically, Air India will be responsible for 10 flights to and from Jeddah, with one round-trip originating from Delhi and two round-trips from Mumbai. Air India Express is set to operate eight scheduled flights to Muscat, alongside additional services including one flight each from Kozhikode and Mangaluru to Jeddah and back. There will also be a round-trip service from Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, and Mumbai to Muscat, ensuring connectivity to these popular destinations.

Non-Scheduled Flights to UAE and Saudi Arabia

In addition to the scheduled routes, Air India and Air India Express are prepared to execute 62 non-scheduled flights to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. These operations will be subject to slot availability and other prevailing conditions at the departure locations at the time. The execution of these flights has been authorized by relevant Indian and local regulatory bodies.

Rebooking and Refund Options for Passengers

Passengers affected by any temporary suspension of the scheduled services are encouraged to rebook their tickets for a future date without incurring additional fees or to opt for a full refund. Air India advises its guests to process rebooking or cancellation requests through the airline’s official website, facilitating a smoother experience for travelers.

Air India Express Rebooking Flexibility

Guests holding reservations with Air India Express, particularly those departing from any locations in the UAE, can also rebook their flights without additional charges. This option applies to any additional commercial flights operated by Air India Express from UAE destinations to various locations in India, reflecting the airlines’ commitment to customer service.

Proactive Customer Engagement

The Air India group is actively reaching out to affected passengers utilizing the mobile numbers registered with the airlines. To ensure that guests receive timely notifications regarding rebooking options, it is essential for them to maintain current and active mobile numbers in their profiles with the airline.

Exploring Additional Flight Opportunities

The Air India group continues to explore various opportunities for operating additional ad-hoc flights to and from various destinations in the West Asia region, further enhancing passenger options amidst the current schedule adjustments.
