5-Year Affair Ends 7-Year Marriage: Wife Plots Husband’s Murder with Lover in Rajasthan

The CSR Journal Magazine

A chilling case has come to light from Didwana-Kuchaman, Rajasthan, Here, a 21-year-old wife, Rekha, allegedly plotted the brutal murder of her husband, Surendra alias Suresh (24), along with her lover Rajuram (21) and his accomplice Jeevanram (23).

The crime was meticulously planned from Nagpur, Maharashtra, over Wi-Fi calls. The body of Surendra was found on Borwad Road on the night of November 29, 2025, initially assumed to be a road accident.

Clues Unveil the Conspiracy

The local police detected deep wounds on the victim’s neck and back, prompting a postmortem that confirmed the cause of death as a knife attack. Investigators scrutinized CCTV footage around the area and noticed two suspects on a bike with a stolen number plate. Jeevanram was detained first, and interrogation led to the arrest of Rajuram. Both revealed that Rekha had orchestrated the murder from Nagpur.

The Brutal Attack

According to police, Rekha informed her lover about Surendra’s travel plans. The two accused trailed Surendra on a bike and stopped him mid-route, using a fake excuse of vehicle trouble. As Surendra removed his helmet, they stabbed him multiple times, killing him instantly.

The body was abandoned on the roadside to simulate an accident, and the perpetrators deliberately avoided carrying mobile phones to mislead investigators.

Rekha’s Background and Affair

Rekha married Surendra in 2018 but had never stayed at her in-laws’ residence. In 2020, during coaching sessions in Kuchaman, she met Rajuram, initiating a romantic relationship. After completing her B.Sc., she moved to Nagpur to live with her father, a marble businessman. Over the last three months, Rekha maintained contact with Rajuram via Wi-Fi and planned the murder remotely.

Shock at the Funeral

Following the murder, Rekha flew to Kishangarh to attend her husband’s funeral in Etawah Lakha for the first time, where she visibly mourned. However, police investigations uncovered the sinister plot, leading to the arrest of Rekha, Rajuram, and Jeevanram seven days after the incident. Surendra, a private school teacher and competitive exam aspirant from a farmer family, lost his life to a meticulously planned conspiracy driven by his wife’s extramarital affair.

Gachhipura Superintendent of Police Mahavir Singh confirmed that all three accused are now in custody. The case underscores the dangerous consequences of personal disputes escalating into premeditated crime and highlights the use of modern communication tools to orchestrate crimes remotely.
