Questions being raised on passenger safety
Despite CCTV surveillance and security cordon everywhere, the question arises as to how the youth reached the metro tunnel. As a precautionary measure, security has been enhanced at metro stations on the night of Independence Day. Then how did the youth reach the tunnel? Question arises about the surveillance in metro rail and safety of passengers. Questions are also being raised about the role of the security guards.
Identity of deceased still unknown
Although the body has been recovered, it is still not known who he is. If the youth was a railway employee, then the metro authorities could have identified the body. Question arises, when did the youth enter the tunnel? And how did he enter the tunnel which is not accessible for passengers? Why weren’t his movements captured on CCTV cameras after the metro service stopped for the day?
After the metro service stopped at its designated time on Thursday night, the officials were routinely inspecting the lines like every other day.
