Western Railway’s premier healthcare facility, Jagjivan Ram Hospital (JRH) at Mumbai Central, is set to revolutionize its diagnostic services with the installation of state-of-the-art CT and MRI facilities under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
This significant upgrade is in its final stages, and the installation of these advanced imaging systems is expected to be completed in the next three months.
Upgraded facilities
According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, this progressive initiative will eliminate the need for outside referrals and significantly reduce waiting times for critical imaging investigations.
The in-house availability of CT and MRI services will provide railway beneficiaries with timely and precise diagnoses, facilitating faster medical interventions and improved treatment outcomes.
Advanced diagnostic technology
The newly established Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Urology departments at JRH will greatly benefit from this advanced imaging setup, enabling more accurate detection and management of complex medical conditions.
