During this event, the Chief Minister unveiled the PRD Cashless Medical Scheme aimed at providing healthcare benefits to PRD personnel. He emphasized the need for the government to ensure developmental benefits reach all segments of society.

CM Adityanath underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and welfare facilities specifically tailored for police personnel and PRD volunteers. He remarked on the importance of such programs in improving the living conditions of those serving in various capacities within the state.

Speaking to attendees, Adityanath mentioned past shortcomings regarding accommodation for police officers and personnel, stating, “Previously, there were no proper barracks facilities for police officers and personnel.” He elaborated on plans to construct high-rise barracks in 56 districts across Uttar Pradesh that would serve as residences for police staff. Additionally, he noted that similar facilities for the PRD have been built in Lucknow.

Introduction of Cashless Healthcare Facility

The launch of the Cashless Medical Scheme is viewed as a significant step towards enhancing the welfare of PRD personnel. During his address, CM Adityanath congratulated the officers and volunteers on the development of this facility. He affirmed that when effective governance is in place, it leads to positive changes for all, not just select groups within the community.

He highlighted that the new healthcare scheme would alleviate medical expenses for volunteers and personnel, enabling them to receive treatment without the burden of upfront costs. This initiative represents part of a broader strategy to bolster the welfare of security personnel in the state.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister’s statements resonated with the ongoing efforts of the government to provide enhanced amenities for those who contribute to maintaining law and order in the state. His remarks reflect a vision aimed at improving the living and working conditions for law enforcement staff, thereby enhancing their overall morale and effectiveness.

Launch of Youth Brigade Scheme

In a related development, CM Yogi Adityanath announced the introduction of the ‘Youth Brigade Scheme’ on August 15 during the celebration of the 80th Independence Day. In his address, CM Adityanath paid tribute to historical figures who fought for India’s freedom, including Mangal Pandey and Lakshmibai, noting their sacrifices that have shaped the country today. By invoking this legacy, he sought to inspire the current generation to uphold the values of courage and dedication in their pursuits.
